Now, however, some employers are going a giant step further, and are asking applicants to provide the employer with passwords or other means of accessing the private areas of applicants’ social media accounts.
Many employers currently look at job applicants’ public profile on social media sites, such as Facebook, to gain insight into their character and suitability for employment.
